Growing up in Eugene, I rarely saw my own skin reflected in the beauty industry. Throughout my training, I was often met with "red tape"—warnings about what not to do for darker Fitzpatrick types for fear of scarring or pigmentation. I’ve always hated being told "no," especially when that "no" comes from a lack of inclusive education.
At Simply Polished Beauty, I’ve turned those warnings into a mission. Because we live in a melting pot of nationalities, skin isn't always what it seems on the surface. That is why I treat all Fitzpatrick types with the same high-level respect as my baseline. Whether your skin is melanin-rich or fair, my protocols are designed to be accessible, safe, and effective for everyone.
I don’t believe in "winter peel seasons" or staying indoors for weeks to recover from aggressive treatments. I believe in Barrier-First Skincare.
True transformation is like hydration: you can’t drink a gallon of water today and expect it to sustain you for a week. Real results take consistency and patience. I choose a slower, more intentional path because I want your results to last a lifetime, not just a weekend. We work with your skin’s natural rhythm to achieve a glow that doesn't require "down time."
This philosophy extends to my nail desk. I will never pinch a nail plate or file into the lower parallels—techniques that lead to onycholysis, hangnails, and breakage. My goal is the long-term health of your nail plate and eponychium. I’m here for the clients who value health over a "quick fix."
A sanctuary is a refuge—a protected space to escape whatever is chasing you outside. As a Eugene local, I built this private suite to be a safe haven from a hectic world. Whether you are here for a Brazilian wax, a corrective facial, or a restorative manicure, this is a space for everyone (male, female, and everything in between) to feel confident and cared for.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll likely find me on my porch patio tending to my garden or lost in a painting. I am a lifelong learner who believes in doing the least harm to others and our environment. I love this city, I love meeting new people, and above all, facials are my passion.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the suite.
